Recovering licenses of lost or broken iLok dongles

Several Inspired Acoustics products are using the iLok copy-protection from PACE. With this system you can choose to store the licenses in your PACE iLok account on physical dongles. In case these physical devices become broken or lost, you will need to recover your licenses.

PACE offers a License Recovery and Replacement service that you can use by an RMA (return merchandise authorization) process with them. You can find all the details about this on the PACE help website https://help.ilok.com/faq_rma.html It may take several days to get an iLok dongle replaced.

PACE also offers different add-on services which you can directly purchase from them: these are currently called Zero Downtime (ZDT) providing a service to offer 14-day temporary replacement licenses reducing the time you need to work without your licenses, and Theft and Lost Coverage (TLC) which allows you to get permanent replacement licenses.

For broken iLoks and Lost/Stolen iLoks with TLC coverage, PACE will offer replacement licenses and Inspired Acoustics will not charge additional fees for recovering your licenses.

In case of a Lost/Stolen iLok where one or more Inspired Acoustics licenses need to be recovered, we will charge a small fee covering our PACE-related fees and processing costs and Inspired Acoustics will replace your licenses.

  • Contact us if you have a Lost/Stolen iLok with no TLC coverage.
  • We will send you a payment link with the nominal service fee.
  • We will replace your licenses.

We charge a one-time fee for recovering up to 10 Inspired Acoustics licenses.
