Coupler labeling and terminology
The organ contains couplers that are named as for example I + II. This means that the 2nd Manual will be added to the 1st Manual, so in other notation I ←II. Also, some couplers have labels of ‘Sub’ or ‘Super’, for example I + II Sub. This means that the 2nd Manual, transposed one octave downwards, will be added to the 1st Manual, so I ←II transposed 1 octave down. (On some organs these are labeled as for example I+II 16’) Similarly, label ‘Super’ means coupling and transposition one octave up. (On some organs, this is noted as for example I+II 4’.)
