What is the Roompack Extension?

INSPIRATA is a measurement-based reverberation workstation plugin shipping with an initial collection of original spaces. INSPIRATA Roompack Extension expands INSPIRATA and grants you access to the full library of available spaces at any time. The Roompack Extension is offered in a yearly subscription and works with all INSPIRATA editions, including Lite.




What is included?

INSPIRATA Roompack Expension contains spaces from the following categories



Recording Studio Spaces

All kinds of spaces specially designed and used for recording and producing music. Large-sized live rooms, scoring stages, small and dry vocal or drum rooms, control and mixing rooms and so on.





Vehicles

The Roompack Extension introduces the interior spaces of different vehicles to the room library of INSPIRATA for post-production purposes. 

Recreate the authentic acoustic timbre of an airplane cabin, cargo space and cockpit.





Post-production spaces

The Roompack Extension contains several typical post-production venues like spaces of a baroque palace, prestigious rooms of a Parliament building, rooms of a University building and so on. 



 


Domestic spaces

There are never enough Domestic spaces when doing dialogue matching or giving a bedroom-producer vibe to your music. The Roompack Extension pack broadens the selection in this category as well.






How to get access?

You can access all the spaces of INSPIRATA Roompack Extension by purchasing annual licenses. During your time of subscription you will get access to the full library of existing and newly released spaces. You can also purchase different thematic subsets of the Roompack Extension as perpetual licenses.

Live room, Supersize Recording Studio

This is the main live room of Supersize Recording Studio. It features oak wood flooring and a unique acoustic design with broadband porous absorbers, perforated panels, and resonant absorbers. The room size is ideal for recording smaller orchestral compositions, big bands, as well as pop or rock formations.

Stone room, Supersize Recording Studio

The stone room provides a unique natural acoustic space for recording drums, vocals, strings or anything else that needs a short but intense, diffuse reverberation. The acoustics in this space are the combined effect of the fragmented stone surface, the asymmetric room geometry, and the high ceiling.

Iso Booth, Supersize Recording Studio

A small sized and heavily treated room next to the main live room that is used mainly as a dry drum room or a vocal booth.

Control Room A, Supersize Recording Studio

This is the main control room of Supersize Recording Studio with an oak wooden floor and carpet tiles. It features a unique acoustic design with broadband porous absorbers, perforated panels, and resonant absorbers.

Main Scoring stage, Pannónia Studio - Overhead

This room is used as the main scoring stage for Pannónia Studio, Budapest. The Main Scoring Stage has a short reverberation time but provides an airy and spacious feeling without an excessive reverb tail. These measurements were captured with the microphones at an overhead height of approximately 3.5 meters (12 feet) from the ground.

Riding Hall, Royal Palace of Gödöllő

The former lobby area of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics V2 building. The building was built in 1969, providing space for numerous auditoriums, offices, and laboratories. It is no longer in use, as the University moved to a more modern environment in 2012.

Tiled Corridor

Vacated University Auditorium

A former auditorium of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. The building was built in 1969, providing space for numerous auditoriums, offices, and laboratories. It is no longer in use, as the University moved to a more modern environment in 2012.

Vacated Lab Space

A former laboratory of the Budapest University of Technology and Economics building. The building was built in 1969, providing space for numerous auditoriums, offices, and laboratories. It is no longer in use, as the University moved to a more modern environment in 2012.

The main passenger space of a 737 Passenger Aircraft. This aircraft is one of the world's most popular medium-range narrow-body airliners. The plane is 40 meters (131 ft) long, has a wingspan of 34 meters (111 ft), and can seat 215 passengers.

757 Cargo Aircraft

The main cargo space of a 757 Cargo Aircraft, an American narrow-body airliner that is over 47 meters (155 ft) long, has a wingspan of 38 meters (125 ft), and can haul more than 32,000 kg (72,210 lb) of payload.

737 Passenger Aircraft, Cargo Hold

Delegation Room, Hungarian Parliament

A historic conference room that was originally built for military, foreign, and financial affairs. The 80-seat room has wooden benches and flooring and is decorated with marble wall cladding, decorative lamps, and paintings.

Dome Hall, Hungarian Parliament

The Dome Hall, which is 27 meters tall, is the geometric center of the Parliament building, featuring a splendid sixteen-rib vaulted ceiling and colorful stained glass windows. The Hungarian Holy Crown is kept here and is guarded by the official Crown Guards of the Armed Forces. The large volume, reflective surfaces, and complex geometry result in a long and rich reverberant sound.

Session Hall, Hungarian Parliament

The Session Hall features panels made of Slavonian oak, gold-plated decorations and a multi-level gallery. The 453 seats are arranged in a horseshoe shape, with a large oak podium in the middle.

High School Sports Hall

A typical high school sports hall with a very long reverberation time and quite strong and distinctive echoes.

Open space office #1

An open-plan office space with a carpeted floor, plastered brick walls, and plenty of windows. This office has been acoustically treated, resulting in a fairly short reverberation.

Living Room #1

An average-sized living room of a family house with hardwood flooring and plastered brick walls, furnished with a sofa.

Bedroom #3

A small sized bedroom of a family house with ceramic tile floor and plastered brick walls.

Small Indoor Pool

A small sized indoor pool of a family house with limestone and hardwood flooring.

Sampling the spaces


Throughout the measurement process, we did not cut any corners.

Despite facing occasional harsh conditions, we carried out acoustic sampling with exceptional detail, capturing thousands of samples in each space.
